Every gift here had to pass three tests. We don’t name brands, so shop wherever you trust.
Gear that lives in his bag, not in a drawer. If it wouldn’t make it into a normal training week, it didn’t make the list.
Leather, steel and stitching that hold up to years of heavy sessions. Every pick tells you what to look for.
Every gift can be sized from things he already owns, so you never have to ask and spoil the surprise.
Prices are typical ranges for well-made gear, not sale prices, and may vary.
Belts are sized by waist, not pant size. Measure around his navel, or lay his current belt flat and measure from the buckle to the hole he uses. Between sizes? Follow the chart for the belt you choose.
10mm is comfortable, breaks in fast and suits most lifters. 13mm is stiffer and made for competition. If you’re not sure, choose 10mm.
Go for the little gifts. Wraps, straps and sleeves wear out and need replacing. Or give him the art belt as a second, special one.
Most sleeves are sized from the calf, measured a few inches below the knee. They’re meant to be snug, so don’t size up.
Holiday shipping gets busy. Order one to two weeks before you plan to give it. Custom and embroidered pieces need three to four weeks.
Ask for a gift receipt and check the return window before you buy. Many stores extend holiday returns into January.
